Our Culinary Medicine Program (CMP) is guided by the idea that food and cooking are primary tools in preventing disease and promoting health. All people must have access to good food, both to the raw ingredients and to the skills needed to use these raw ingredients wisely.
Our CMP workshops are hands-on and food-forward—participants learn through doing. We blend the wisdom inherent in our rich culinary heritages with evidence-based nutrition practices—an equal dose of grandma know-how and physician expertise. Then we translate the lessons of both to the everyday plate, taking into account real-world constraints of time and money.
